Rhythms: Earth and Water” - Solo show at Carol Robinson Gallery in 2018. “Images surround me in my native city of New Orleans and in Louisiana. Whether relating to water, land or an urban setting, those images often serve as a springboard for my non-pictorial art. I also gather inspiration from the natural beauty of places I have visited and file those in my memory which later provides a stimulation for my work. I’m intrigued with the rhythm, cadence and flow of both the land and water. Each has its own unique characteristics. With these paintings, my impressions and expressions have emerged and are demonstrated in the concept of abstraction.”

"Transformations" - Solo show at Carol Robinson Gallery 2016. “My previous two solo shows focused on structures, architecture and modern images inspired by my late architect father. Since that time, with the loss of my mother and the selling of our beloved family home (designed by my father), a shift or transformation in my art work has occurred. I feel that these latest works are the culmination - the 3rd chapter in a trilogy - of the previous work and is signaling a sense of moving forward with an acknowledgment and appreciation of the past.”

"Blueprints: Refections of Modern Design" - Solo show at Carol Robinson Gallery 2011. “As the daughter of an architect, I was surrounded by contemporary forms and images. My father believed that simple, strong design should reflect the interior space of a structure. I was inspired to show my interpretation of some of these shapes in my painting. Blue prints, floor plans and architectural images are revealed in these abstract works as my impressions, and appreciation of architecture and modern structures. This exhibit is my reflection of modern design and a tribute to modernist architecture.”

"Deconstruction - an Impression of Vanishing Treasures" - Solo show at Carol Robinson Gallery 2009. '“The Rivergate Series represents a homage to my late father who was an architect – a very creative, gentle, and distinctive man who was a visual artist and produced powerful images with his buildings. One such structure was the award winning Rivergate Convention and Exhibition Center in New Orleans, an innovative design with its sweeping undulating roofline, and contemporary, sleek interior with vast un-columned spaces. Regrettably and sadly, the Rivergate was destroyed less than 30 years after being built. Through my paintings, it is my desire to capture the turmoil, destruction, and sense of loss of this magnificent building.”
